ANNA KARINA.

I've very recently discover the very gorgeous Ms. Anna Karina, and I think it's safe to say that she'll become a big style (and hair!) inspiration for me. She's a bit like a brunette Brigitte Bardot; which is wonderful because I love Brigitte so much but she makes me long for blonde locks! Anna Karina looks fab, and makes me feel better about being a natural brunette :) Now, to watch some more of her movies! <3

S.H.O.P.P.I.N.G.

Such a cross to bear, such an addiction. I bought this lover-ly River Island jumper yesterday, to keep me warm through the winter in my college apartment, which I'm hoping will not be an ice-box like my house last year was!

Anyway, I like it, a bit Alexa Chung-esque. I want to wear it with sixties hair and make-up, to Bardot it up a bit. I love Brigitte Bardot so much (young Bardot, not slightly mental current Bardot!)

I also bought the new Brandon Flowers album, 'Flamingo', which I've been so excited about! So far, I'm loving it, especially 'Hard Enough' and 'Magdalena'. Now to scrape some cash together to see him live...

What Claudia Wore

I meant to write about this wonderful, charming, hilarious blog on my old blog (R.I.P., you had a shit life) but never got round to it. So here I am! If, like me, you were a little girl in the nineties and (unlike me) DIDN'T read the Babysitter's Club novels, SHAME ON YOU. These were like crack to my nine-year-old self, I literally could not get enough of them. I even had to join two libraries, because my local library's supply couldn't match up to my demand. Anyway, enough of my nerdy childhood!
Kim Hutt's blog, What Claudia Wore, is my new addiction. I discovered it the other day and since then I've read her entire past posts. She's so funny! Adult humour meets kiddie obsession, it's such a great blog; plus Claudia was always my fave character too. Happy times. That is all. :)

This isn't my first blog, but it's hopefully going to last a bit longer than the others. I think I come to a point where I just feel so embarrassed by my blogs that I need a fresh start, and delete the old ones!
So this is my new fresh start. I don't really know what the point of it is, maybe just for me; so I don't have to remember what I had for dinner* or something on the tenth of September, 2010.
Anyway. Happy birthday, new blog.
